'68 with '94 dash

Check out my uncles 68 that he and his brother built. He sat it on a '94 frame with the fuelie and installed the dash with all power and A/C. It actually belonged to the brother that passed away last year and now they want to move on. Trucks located in Oklahoma. Thought I would share it here. I would rather see a member own it, than some kid with cash that will destroy it within 6 months!

Re: '68 with '94 dash

1) How many hours did it take?

2) How much was invested in total parts?

3) How much would it sell for in today's market?

Re: '68 with '94 dash

He has owned this truck as long as I can remember. Time and money was never calculated.

Asking $9500. He would entertain all offers though.

The exterior looks great.

But just looks out of place for these older trucks.

Just my opinion here.

Good luck with the sale.

nice truck but it looks outta place on the older body style but def a really different and cool idea maybe if the truck was laying rocker it would look a little bit in place

Re: '68 with '94 dash

I dont have much info. on the install. The owner that had it when it was done, passed away. Only thing I remember is bits and pieces about a shop in Dallas

Just thought I would throw it up there to look at.

Re: '68 with '94 dash

yeah....interesting.....but i'm partial to the original symmetrical dash. now, if he'd used the late 90's dash it would have been nicer. i think the early 90's dash is kinda clunky. i'd have just swapped the seat and perhaps the steering column and steering wheel and used a tan dash pad for the custom look.

I'm a "don't mess with perfection" guy, but that conversion looks good. Cnut
