Yeah, but not for $184.00 a pair! They sell one on their big brake kit, which is 1 grand. With the performance online ca;ipers you can put them on a stock disc setup.

Did you order a set? I know looking at their site, they had the Howe ones and new aluminum single piston ones, which were priced at $184 for the pair. Hard to think they would also sell 2 piston ones for the same prices as their single piston ones.

Not doubting what they told you but I would love to see pics of these. I always find it amazing a company will release something for sale and not have it on their web site. How are we suppose to buy them???

i see your concern. I called them regarding the ad they have in the CCT magazine showing a new aluminum 1 piston caliper, and i asked the guy what about a 2 piston and he said we do have it available right now, its not on the site yet but he could take the order over the phone. i asked is this the same Howe caliper on your site and he said NO absolutely not. They had fitment problems with the Howe calipers and had to have them machined or something so they had someone make them a 2 piston aluminum caliper. You do have to hack off about 1/4 inch off your spindle to make it fit with clearance, the howe caliper to my knowledge did not require that step. Best thing to do would be to call like i did to answer any questions you might have.

Looks like I'll be getting these calipers once I return my Howe calipers

http://www.performanceonline.com/sto...at=1294&page=3

I called performance online and these come with the pads for $250. I asked if they had them without pads (for cheaper) and they said no. I already have some Hawk pads I'll be running, but oh well. They also said they do have the o-rings in them unlike the Howe's.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Are they a direct bolt in? The performance ones are they say. Just a little modifcation is all that's needed to the bracket. I plan to do some more research on them. I also found some calipers at year 1 that are dual piston when I went to the car show there in September. I can't find the info now though.
The company's name was like
ssbc. Here is a web page. When I was at the show I talked to them about the calipers. I don't see them on the website though. May have to call.

Re: 2 piston brake calipers

I'm going to run 4 piston Brembo calipers from a 2000 Porsche Boxster. The rear was easy to fab up, still working on the front. Factory 72 rotors in the front, cross drilled and Impala SS rotors in the rear, cross drilled also. I will try to post pics Monday if I remember.
