What seats work

I want to replace the bensh seat in my 67 1/2 ton with a bucket seat assy out of something fairly new. Most i've looked at have a small console that i would like to remove. Any ideas?

Re: What seats work

I just purchased a set of 88 to 91 Chevy buckets. They are stand alone seats with no console and fit well, if you are looking for lowback buckets. They will look much better when covered!

Re: What seats work

I just posted this on another thread on here, but here is what I did. I took power seats out of a 02 Dodge Intrepid. The power controls are in the seat so it is only two wires to hook them up. I am bolting down a piece of 3" square tubing to the floor and mounting the seats to that so that they sit a bit higher. It is a very easy install. The sholder harness are also easy to install so that everything works together. I am leaving the headrests on mine, but they could be removed if you don't want them on there. I am going to build my own console for the set up. I don't have pictures, but I can get some if you would like.
