Will a '75 Van gas tank fit?
I read once that someone used a tank from a 76 van in his relocation project. I like the beveled back end, so it wouldn't look so big under there. Will this work without much mod? I know I'll have to notch the cross piece under the bed but does it require any other work? I can get a tank complete from a 75 van for $5.00. According to my measurements (26" X 29"), the tank would be too long from front to rear and rear frame cross member would get in the way. What are the measurements of the tank in the Blazer kit? Just asking to see if this is a doable project. Cnut

The measurements on mine are approximately 29" x 17" and 14" deep.

Re: Will a '75 Van gas tank fit?
It's not going to fit. The van tank is way too long. Thanks for the quick response.
