Help! Gear swap question

A little off-topic...I'm considering buying a 99 4X4Suburban w/ 4.10 gearing. I'd like to swap in a 3.08 or a 3.43. Would I have to convert BOTH axles on a 4X4? Thanks

Yeah, I'm sure you'd have to swap both...especially if you plan on being able to go more than a few MPH in very loose terrain with 4WD engaged!
