Air Ride Tech AIRoverLeaf System???
Hi,
I am thinking about using this system to lower the rear of my 70 C20 with leafs. I am probably going to put the tire style valves on the air bags for now and later on when money permits add a compressor and tank. I was ondering if anyone has used one of these systems and what they thought about it. Also are there anythings too look out for when installing this? Any advice/ opinions/ comments are wanted. I am looking at this because just the air system is only $225 vs. the $350 for drop rear leafs. Let me know which way is better to go with. I have experience with these (I have them on my 99 s-dime). I would say save your money, find a trailing arm set up and put some double convoluted bags (2500 firestones) on those with a pan hard bar and voila bags. Even with my wimpy 2.2 4cyl I get really bad wheel hop (I monoleafed the stock leafs). Also, air over leafs will not make you go lower than your static ride height. Therefore, if you add it to your current setup it will not go lower, only higher when inflated.
