quick inner fender question
I installed my new pass. side inner fender and installed that bracket that looks like an F between the inner fender and the cab. What is the purpose of this bracket/spacer? and does anybody know the proper way this should be installed. thanks

That bracket doesn't sound familiar. There aren't any spacers used when installing the inner fenders. Just 5/16" J-nuts and 5/16" Body Bolts. There is also 1 5/8" bolt with about a 2" diameter washer that bolts the inner fender to your cab's outrigger. WES

thanks...must have been something the PO installed to hold those old rusted fenders to the outrigger.

I had the same ones, not sure if they are necessary. Probably had something to do with alignment.

Guess it is like a body shim or something.. |
