inline 6 to 350

1974 c10 just swapped out the inline for a 350 with hei do i need to change wiring harness

No you can shorten it up a bit but no need to swap. When the wife and I swapped in the v8 into her apollo I spent a few extra hours shortening and re routing the harness to make it look more presentable. Granted I did end up fixing years of previous owner hack jobs and quick fixes to the wire system but would it have not been needed I would have left most of it alone.

you only need to add a power wire for the HEI, the coil power feed from the points setup is not enough juice. It will run it but not the way it should
