Stoked!!!!
So as you guys know I got my rear end yesterday and I'm getting the tranny I need for my Nailhead next week. But I am also gonna get my suspension MII and Tri-4 link welded in for $1400 next month. I'm seeing more progress on my truck I might even be able to drive it this summer.

Re: Stoked!!!!
1400?? just for the welding?? i guess what you said was right, everything is more expensive out there. compared to how long it took me to weld in mine (MII and ladder bars) thats close to $200 bucks an hour!! shop time around here is around $50 bucks an hour
I'd do it for 700

Re: Stoked!!!!
he wanted to charge 3 grand but like when buying a car I gave him the ol well I'm gonna look around a bit. When he heard that he said I can do the MII for $700 and I got an onther buddy whoruns a wheel shop to do the 4 link for another $700. That is was cheap for where I live in Northern California. Like I've said before people who know how to do the job have taken advantage of this hobby of ours

Re: Stoked!!!!
Wow, that's insane money.
What about taking that money and buying a welder, is that an option for you?

Re: Stoked!!!!
Agreed. 1400 dollars would buy one heck of a Miller. Welding is cake, expecially with a mig. A little time and a tape measure would ensure a quality install

Re: Stoked!!!!
True but I dont have a level spot to put my truck and since never having done anything like this I'm kinda scared to mess it up. Lets the pros do it while I watch and next time I'll give it a shot
