Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build
Thanks Tim,
Darrah and I made it to the salvage yard Saturday and got our fender. Darrah took alot of pictures and we posted them in our 60-66 general area. Got the fender home and did a test fit and was very pleased at the fit.

Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build
yeah..I am here in CA the "rust free state" and I ended up cutting two fenders to make one, after looking at the aftermarkets I decided that repairing an oem was better, those aftermarket fenders are junk! I collected fenders for the last 8 years from junkyards hoping to get a good one or two...they all ended up having bondo or rot or just too many dents to make a reasonable repair...what did you have to give for the fender??

Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build
They are real soft. I just used something hard and smooth on the head side and a center punch and tap lightly. Hope this helps

Quote:
As far as panels that cannot be fixed because of the rust factor. All thats left would be the passenger side inner fender and the drivers side floor is ruff. Thanks Jason, yeah everything lined up real good,
