72 CHEYENNE SUPER 4X4 - rare combo of options?

Hey guys, was just wondering about a truck I brought back from TX last year. It was used on a farm all it's life - so it's a little rough (but unmolested) & I bought it because of it's options. So, I took a pic today of the option sheet ( SPID ) to ask you guys if it is a unusual combo of options. Maybe it's not as odd as I think. Thanks for your input!

not odd, but a nicely appointed 4x nonetheless!

tilt, am/fm, buckets, sliding rear glass, and the super sport option? that my friend is a nicely optioned truck.

That's a dayum nice little truck! I'd bring that one back if I had it. That color combo would be drop dead purty when done.

Pics please?!

Sorry it's in storage now until I get the time & $ to restore it - I have a great wife, this is truck #4 (and yes I still have 1,2,&3). Like I said it is a little rough but, solid & unmolested (still has the AM/FM & buckets!) I'll get pics when it's done.

even though the person typing it wrote super sport... its not an SS. There's no such thing as an SS. That's a Cheyenne Super.
And it is a very desirible truck too.
The HD front springs and below eyeline mirrors seem a little off to me, but it may be somewhat common in the 4X4 scene?

Nice truck. In the same venue as mine. Mine is a 72 cheyenne super. White and med bronze also. Factory tilt, tach, a/c, rear slider, am/fm, 3/4ton lwb 4wd with a 4speed. Bench seat in mine though. Mine is just a pile of parts right now but hopefully will be painting and putting it back together in about a month.

Re: 72 CHEYENNE SUPER 4X4 - rare combo of options?

The 4x4 and cheyenne super loaded with options is the unusual but not rare package. Most 4x4 trucks were ordered for work while those options were ordered for play. No telling if the buyer ordered the truck that way or the dealers sales manager was wondering just how cool that truck might look and ordered one. The bronze and white is pretty rare as that color didn't really catch on till the later 70s. Lots of potential here---.
Hopefully the condition is good enough to justify restoration.

Yes, it's solid enough to restore & everything is still there.
