Great looking ride.............how long to complete?

I have trouble with people drooling after seeing my Harleys in the garage.....just told them not to slip in their drool, I'll wash the garage out later.

Kind of a tribute to your work...........

The truck looks great! Are you planning to bring it up to any Kansas car shows. I'd sure like to see it in person. Love that color what is it......Stroker

Awesome Job! I'll be glad when I can wax mine, I just use sandpaper to clean it now.

The flames are perfect, I like it when they are real subtle.

WOW! That's alot of comments! To answer all your questions, the paint is sunset orange metallic.. It's a '99 chevy truck color. If you buy paint, I think it's the shade A...there's like 4 different shades of it! the flames are 1 misted coat of copper pearl on top of the sunset orange. The tank is a blazer 18 gal tank. We made a polished aluminum tank cover to make it look a little neater for shows and stuff. The wheels are Eagle series 211's, 15". It's in shows around Oklahoma City all the time, but, somehow, it keeps missing the top spot...guess people don't like '67-'72 chevy trucks as much as we do!

Oh yeah, the wood is oak. we put 1 light coat of stain, then about 4 good solid coats of polyurathane varnish. It's best to experiment with the stain on some scrap wood to get the shade you want. It took about 4 years to complete...

I'm using l.e.d. taillights from lambert enterprises. they're hidden in the stake pockets of the bed. Pictures wouldn't do those justice...you gotta see 'em in person! they're smooth...the lens is under the clear-coat.

my seat is out of a '98 chevy. It's the 60/40 with the fold down console.

Chickasha, Ok...I drive through there quite often going to Duncan.

Are you taking it to the Super Chevy Show in Ennis, TX next weekend? HUGE event!

Would love to see your truck in person.

Super Chevy Show...hmm...didn't know about that! I'll see what I can do. If you're going to be down this weekend, it's the Chickasha Swap Meet. I'll probably take my truck out there to show Kenny at Kenny's trucks. We bought most of the parts off him. If not, we'll be at some shows around the OKC area throughout the summer.
