67-72 gas tank differences
What are the differences between 67-72 fuel tanks? I'm looking for a new one and 71-72 seems to have some emissions stuff on it and the tank isn't reproduced.

I believe it has something to do with venting, Im sure a 72 guy will answer this one for sure

I have one out of my 72 GMC. I think michael bustamante is correct and it has something to do with the venting. I will post pics of mine to show you what the neck looks like if I get a chance.

correct just the vent tubes no biggie they will swap just an emissions item
