250 power steering brackets and 292 brackets

Would the 250 engine power steering brackets work on a 292 engine?

I don't think they are quite the same since the 292 is a taller engine.

The 292 also has a bypass hose to the water pump the 250 bracket will not clear it

No, they're different brackets. The 250 had several different versions of the power steering brackets depending on the year.
