My trip to PF
I just got back from pigeon forge and the GMC/CHEVY Truck Nat's.
I met up with Captkaos on saturday and we hung out for a while we saw bagged81's truck in the parking lot but never ran into him and we met a few of the other board member's from the '67-72 board. Even tho i was not in the prefered show of the weekend i did take 2nd place in the '73-87 mild mod class and the long distance award I even won a door prize a sbc gasket set, wash bucket & sponge, & some bbc valve cover gasket's that i had no need for so captkaos got them. Here's a few #'s from the trip Gas round trip 130$ MPG per tank 17.5 MPG avarage 10.5 Total miles 1 way 969 Total hr's driving round trip 27.5 Total expence 840$ That's an expensive trophy But it was a good time |

Bruce,
I sure hate I missed meeting up with you and Chris. It is a fun time to be had. Maybe next year.

Well, I guess we missed each other. I saw Capt's Vette next to my truck but nobody was around. I wish that we could have met up cause I was really bored walking around by myself. I took several pics, but I have not had time to get them posted yet. Oh well, maybe next time.

Congrats Bruce! It was nice to meet up with you two.
Sure Mike, there will be another show there ya know... Gary, it is the first weekend of May (or is has been the last 8 times I have been) Jeff C. I parked there on purpose hoping I would run across you. I did have to leave after a couple of hours, Kristi was feeling sick with a headache from the heat and wanted to go back to the room. My cell phone died with no charger when I was going to meet up with everyone on this board, so I couldn't call anyone. I found my charger at home when I got back I don't know how you missed me, I had this shirt on:

Jeff, or anybody that is going to the F*rd Nats. please take me some pics and put them on this site so I can see what all this F**d stuff is all about. I did help him replace his engine with a new crate 302 Exploder and a AOD and just finished with the final timing tune yesterday. It has less than 200 miles on it and he is off on a cross country chingo

Sorry I lost my mind again, I would like you to pm some 56's as I have become closely attached to one since Nov. . I understand they have some wild power plants for them, that is what the other guys talk about, and I haven't noticed to many 56's with wild engines. Thanks

Yea, '56's are my fav too. I will see what I can do. When I got my truck, it was between an '56 F-!## and my truck. Put it this way, I kinda regret my decision.
I really like my truck though.
