Far as I understand, you are using the original hinges (with the lower one being repinned), you have removed them and have replaced them.
There should be some adjustment (up/down) and it is quite common to reinstall the hinges and/or door lower than they were before. Try loosening off the bolts and sliding the door up to give you rocker clearance, keep one of the hinges tight at the door and jamb while you are adjusting the door, to keep it from dropping again.
