Who Has Done Quartz Clock Install ?
Looking for any tips on the quartz clock install in dash bezel on my 71 4x4. Things like cutting the green painted metal pan, fitting the clock to the metal back of the bezel housing, mounting the clock, etc. Seems to me the clock needs to be suspended so that the dash lights will illuminate it. Have looked at the process and am not satisfied with what I am coming up with. Dont't want to screw up my tach dash so am using a broken dash as a test run. Anyone who has done this please respond with your ideas and tips you have. Thanks to all who can help.
