got a Chevy 12 Bolt rearend for sale, from a 77 chevy truck.
has an Eaton Posi unit in it with the 800lb spring pack in it.
Rear end has all new bearings with new shoes in it. complete.
350.00 OBO.

and I thought that mine at 9 MPG was bad.....Thats why I bought a Cherokee for a daily driver...
You don't know anyone with a small truck that gets good milage?

I can take some pics, but none of the inside.. it's all put together with oil in it.
I got about 1500 miles since I rebuilt it last year. I took it out and replaced it with one ton running gear.

Sounds like someone needs to buy a junk yard hopper. I got a dually for going to the junk yards and getting parts and it gets 12 mpg. And man can I light up those duallies in a hurry!

The only bad thing is it's top speed is about 70 MPH and that is singing. But it can pull. I used it to tow my neighbors trailor with his dozer on it when his mack broke down. She didn't like it but she did it. We figure trailer and dozer where around 9.5 tons. Drove most of the way in granny gear!

Yes this is a complete Rear-end... 12 bolt.. with an eaton posi in it.with a 373 gear ratio..
all new bearings with maybe 5k on it. I will also throw in a couple of extra axels and drums that I have..

So it's a total bolt-in piece? (Just gonna driveshaft, and then axles? or are the axles already in it?) Sounds like a good deal, and redding isn't too far from me.
