How much lift?
Here's a pic of my Blazer. I got it with this lift installed so I know nothing about it. The tires are 33 12.5 15 on 15x10 wheels. Any ideas how much lift this is? The ride is pretty rough... ok, it's really rough.
I think i'd like it better a bit lower...

Re: How much lift?
maybe 2.5-4? Do you have room for 35s? I would guess there is a block in the back - measure its height.

Re: How much lift?
Doesn't quite look like 4". It might be a 2.5" lift. Here's a pic of mine with a 4" and 33's. They look pretty close though.

Re: How much lift?
Thanks guys-
I figured it was a 4" I did measure the blocks, they are 4" but I wasn't sure it the rear springs are stock height. Blue Thunder- I think mine is the same height as yours.

Re: How much lift?
That is a nice rig, especially the top. I think the side steps threw me off on the lift question. What are your plans for it? What are the specs? Anymore pics?

Specs- it's a '71. 350/th350/np205 Engine has roller rockers edelbrock carb & intake (carb is too big) healthy cam, hooker headers, HEI, noisy timing gear (that is getting annoying & will be swapped for a chain soon). All rebuilt in '98 under 10K miles ago. All I have done since I got it is swap a stock grille back into it- it came with a chrome tube grille & swapped steering wheels and I have fixed a few small mechanical issues. Plans- short term- fix the MANY oil leaks, new roll bar (the plumbing cast iron is not only ugly, it's dangerous!). repaint the top- it's just spray painted & not very well. I'd like to swap in a 700r4 & 3/4 ton brake booster, maybe someday TPI. Long term- Drive it for a while then a better restoration. It's what I'd call a 10 footer, looks great from 10' away. The restoration was done in '98, it has some rust bubbles here & there, there are a couple areas that the body work wasn't done quite right, etc. The interior has recovered stock seats & too much grey carpet- floors, door panels, bedsides... everywhere. I'd like to redo some of that... Who knows what else I'll come up with, that's the fun part! More pics...

Re: How much lift?
I have factory repops frm LMC. They look good, but you can't see a thing with them, especially if you are towing that boat.

Re: How much lift?
I like your mirrors, I won't be able to change mine till I'm ready to paint it since the holes for the brackets will need to be filled, I'm stuck with mine for now. You are right, I'm sure they'll work better for stuff like the boat... maybe they will grow on me.

Re: How much lift?
I don't mind the Ford mirrors, they look pretty good on the truck and are popular given how many have those type mirrors. Nice truck overall - have me thinking a dark blue paint job would look nice on my truck!
