TH350 Shift Kit Installation Difficulty??
I was wondering how hard it is to install a shift kit in a TH350? How much would it cost to get a shop to put one in? I am probably gonna get the B&M Street/Strip Shift kit i think. Are there any others out there that are better? I want the one that will shift the hardest and firmest. Let me know of your experiences. Thanks

I've installed the B&M kits in the 350 and 700R4. No worries mate, study the instructions, keep tools and parts clean. If you can, lift and support vehicle, drop pan and let trans drain over night before you attempt job, it helps to have less ATF dripping in your face. Taking your time, you should be road testing within 3 hours.

I was just looking at the B&M Transpak Kits and saw that they had a Full Competition kit with extreamly hard shifts and kinda liked the sound of that. What is better the B&M Shift Kits or The B&M Transpak kits? Thanks

i think i put the trans pack in mine it came with the valve body plates like the shift kit did but it also came with different springs for the valve body. As far as the comp kit gose i think that only shifts at WOT, i think the kit has all 3 types in it, RV, street strip and Competition, i did street strip, took me about an houre and half then
