does anybody make or sell the brackets for a drivers side alternator mount?

no the one that bolts to the front of the head. it is for a 72 c-20 factory ac truck with a 350.

Not to steal your thread but i am in the need for one as well. Short water pump. Something like the picture. Chrome would be real nice.

Parts board has them pretty often. I buy them off there to powdecoat and resell frequently.

Not sure if your looking for, or have to stay original, but I got all new brackets for my BBC swap from Alan Groves Components, He has several different applications, and it made for a nice clean install IMO.......
