Dropped modular spindle install
I am about to order a dropped spindle and 2" drop springs from ccp. I went to their modular spindle install section on line and it showed a white truck with this drop. The owner said it was on the bump stops, and only 26" from the ground to the top of the front fender arch. Something doesnt sound right here, or am i wrong. It looks awful low for a 4" drop. I dont want to order something i'm not happy with.

Re: Dropped modular spindle install
I just installed the 2" modular CPP drop spindles on my 64. I also cut 1 coil off the stock spring. This gives me a total 4" front drop. The lower arm bump stop is a little more than an inch away from it's contact point. I can't tell you how it rides yet since it's not quite ready for the road.
Hope this helps with what you're thinking. |

Re: Dropped modular spindle install
what year truck? Any link to the white truck so we can judge that? At 26" that's more like a bagged truck....a 4/6 drop from ECE has you approx 28" high to the fender arch with a stock height tire.
