I bought mine in the D/fw aera from a guy with Whitehead as his last name. I dont remember his first name, probably not the same guy you bought yours from. Ours sounded so similar that it got me wondering. Thanks anyway...

Congrats my fellow Albertan!!!
Let me know when you are passing thru Calgary on the number 2. I am just south of the city off Highway 2. I could meet you as you pass thru, and snap some digital pics for the board. Some advise - spare parts to consider: fan belt, hose clamps and hose, jack and spare tire. Have a safe trip , and take your time. Phone number is 403-606-1853, if you want me to snap some digital pics for you, or if you need any help. take care,

Carry all the fluids she could possably leak...5 gal of watter at a minimum, toss some extra points in the glove box, a few fuel filters, and some duct tape and bungie cords.
We all know what the tape is for, and bungie corda are almost as awsome. Sounds like quite a find! If it was mine, i would keep it pretty original, and find a SWB if you really want one. But, it is your truck. Good luck on the drive back home .

Actually I have a brand new HEI still in the box sitting at home, with nothing to put it in, so I will be installing it onto this truck when I get back.
