fuel line material
i just installed a 16 gal fuel cell in the bed of my 67. it has -8 ( 1/2") fittings. i have plenty of the cheap steel braded hose, bit i dont know if i can run it from the tank ( installed in front area of bed) to the fuel pump on the engine, or should i run a section of some kind of hard line along the frame with braded line on the ends. i've heard aluminum get work hardened just from vibrations and cracks, i cant find 1/2" stainless, and i dont know about the effects of gas on copper. a friend tried a quicky fix on a 66 impala when he got multiple pinholes in the factory line and just ran a piece of rubber line from the tank to the pump and it didnt get very far before collasping. any ideas?

Re: fuel line material
if you have enough braided line and it's rated for fuel i'd use that
