I pulled the tranny cooler lines out of the truck and forgot to note which one went where before I yanked 'em out.

So what I need to know is, on the radiator, which is the inlet and which is the return (top/bottom).

Those are on the trans, I need to know which is which on the radiator.

OK, finally found this:

So the bottom fitting is in from the trans, top is out to trans.

Bottom is in Top is Return

Why does it matter? The radiator is simply a heat exchanger. Fluid loses/gains heat to/from the ambient air/coolant. Direction is not that important.

Rear: Return/in
Front: Cooler feed/out
