Still has split rims and all 4 hubcaps.

Re: 1972 GMC 3/4 Ton

A complete 3/4 ton 72 is worth about $400 for scrape in my area at the current prices.Depends on what parts you want and what you want to sale.If parting out you need to get it at a price that you can sale enough parts to recoupe your investment and make a profit for your time and effort.I've bought a lot of rusty 1/2 & 3/4 ton trucks for $100 to $300 over the years but only 1 lately.I paid $600 for a very rusty 72 3/4 last year but it was a cheyenne super with nice tight tilt, nice door panels, visors, seat belts, new 4 core rad,new blazer tank, decent driver grill & bumper ,good running 350 /400t combo ,complete ac, tinted glass and wood floor bed.Had camper top so header panel and tubs looked new just rotted wood.I used the tilt, rad, blazer tank, cheyenne super interior ,fender emblems, few pieces exterior wood grain trim.header panel, tubs cross sills, splash pans, lights and bed wiring for shortbed cheyenne project. All these parts are my profit.I have sold enough parts that I didn't set aside to keep to recoupe my $600 investment and still have enough to probably get another $600 before I'm though with it.Make a list of the good parts, what you think you can sale them for, what you want to keep and decide how much its worth to you.
