Re: What did you get done 4/4 Easter/Passover edition

No truck work necessary this week-end!

Instead it was time for my annual 'make the wife smile' and wash/wax and service the mower after being idle all winter followed by the "roll & mow the 3 acre yard for the first time this year" event. Worked on some pasture fence in anticipation for some feeder steers to arrive soon. Also took time to service the Generac stand-by generator since springtime is looking a touch unsettling for the midwest.

Add a ton of yardwork with the wife and it has been a good 'holiday week-end' still in progress. (day after Easter is always a day off!)

Did see this in the local Wally World parking lot this afternoon after getting some fuel with the C-30. Obviously spring has arrived in the midwest when the garage queens start coming outside!

That was friday. Saturday i took my dash apart to find out why my speedo stopped working turns out the angle of the cable kinked it and just broke the cable at the bend, i bought a shorter one and put the dash back together. I also added the wire connected to my radio for the ipod. while i was changing the speedo wire i cleaned up some of the wires underneathe the hood. And today i just spent time with the family and realxed at home.

i want thet toolbox !!!!! what brand is it? and where did you get it

Re: What did you get done 4/4 Easter/Passover edition

Nothing truck related as usual. Took my boy to bmx Friday night, I did not race, still no bike for me yet. He is still jittery on the jumps and sitting down, a few more practices/races and he will be all over that 8 year old. Now if he would just pay attention when I show him how to "table top" like Timmy Judge....that's another story.

the toolbox i got from my distibutor its "trail fx" brand, the box size is 60"x20"x20" and it fits rather nicely but i think i rather have a flush mount tonneau

Re: What did you get done 4/4 Easter/Passover edition

Hmm well lets see, got my passenger door shaved up and the truck running again. Then found out the trans wont go into second. I figure I have to run out of things to fix or replace sooner or later.
