Steering Column Rebuild

Hi hope everybody is doing find, this weather is crazy. I'm rebuilding a stock non-tilt column for my burb. What kind of grease should I use to lube certain contact areas? And I remember some one saying that there was some sort of preload that needs to be set. Also is there a source to buy the small rubber sleeve that goes on the end shifter rod that fits into the column? I think thats all my questions but well I'll remember something latter. Thanks for any info on this matter.
