i need to get this stuff ordered but i want to make sure i get the best fitting stuff,, i have heard sof-seal mentioned any opinions ??? is one better than the other or are they all the same

I got my window scrapers/felts from Classic Heartbeat, way better then the junk from LMC they replaced. I have the press on door seals from GMC Paul's. Took a while for them to break in, but they seal great.

I think Precision is the best brand to buy.

I did get some from LMC and they're better than the rotton ones I pulled out. Still gotta crack the window to shut the door! Probably not the best though I suppose. We are talking about rubber here right? How awesome can it get?

After just replacing all my rubber on my truck...and having LMC rubber and Precision to choose from I would have to agree that Precision is best by far.

has anyone else used the press on ones from Gmc pauls ?? that seems like a killer idea , i hate the glue on ones, any pics of your press on ones ? do they look the same

I've had the press on ones from GMC Pauls on my project for a few years. They seem like pretty nice pieces, but are tough to break in. I'd take pics for ya, but my truck is still in AZ.

I highly recommend the Dodge ones from Classic Heartbeat. The original style for these trucks is junk.

Bad rubber degrades quickly and is the reason we are now coming out with our own stuff. Precision does sell a great product. That is who makes the press on Dodge stuff and press on S/10 stuff that everyone seems to like. I like the Dodge stuff because it doesn't take so long to brake in. WES

I'm getting ready to buy some in the near future as well and I was wondering what all the talk is about "breaking it in". Does this mean that you have to slam the door for a while or something? Thanks in advance!

Yeah, it takes a pretty good slam for awhile. Mine hasn't been on the road yet, so sitting with the doors shut for a year made it a lot easier to close!

well i cured my itch to buy something today complete rubber kit for doors (precision brand) by your recomendation, with the press on door seals, hope they are nice Thanks for the info on GMC PAULS, this was my first purchase from them

I don't have them uploaded on my site, because unless you know that we use these to replace the "glue on" people wonder why it is there..lol OK, OK, I just don't remember to upload them..

I just wanted to chime in, I had bought my door seals, scrapers, and felts from LMC 5 or 6 years ago. The door seals work as they should, but the window scrapers and felt are of really poor quality, but were much better than what I had on previously.

I installed door seals and window channel kits from Brothers. They were on sale and they have made a huge difference. Altough they have only been on for a week, my friend commented that they look better than the LMC like items.
