hi-beam problem

I have the hi-beam selector on the floor on my 81. The problem is that after a short period of time with the hi beams on, they'll flicker off and on. With just the headlights on, there is no flickering off or on. I have a brand new battery in the truck. I havent had time to switch the selector out due to being busy with school. Any solutions?

Re: hi-beam problem

Sounds like your hi beam switch is starting to go bad. Might have a loose connection in it.
