Boss 338's?
I've seen a few sets popping up on these trucks, I think they look great with the 20/18's. Does anybody have a set on a 47-54 that could share specifics such as backspacing, suspension, etc. Or even 20/18's in general?

Re: Boss 338's?
I bought a set for mine but have not put them on yet, my truck is still in pieces. Should have pictures up with the wheels on in the next few weeks. I got 18x8s and 18x9.5s since they had the offsets I needed.

Re: Boss 338's?
I'm running a S10 4X4 rear end (44" I think) and 2 inch spacers on the front hubs. Let me in on this I learned when I bought mine. If you are doing a S10 chassis you will HAVE to put at least a 1 inch spacer on the fronts, due to the cut of the wheels it WILL NOT fit over the S10 rotor hub. 20x10's have 6 inch and the 18x8's have 4 1/2 inch backspacing. I bought a 24" x 8 trailer fender and cut it in half for my mini-tubs.

Re: Boss 338's?
Im using a 4x4 s10 rear, will need a slight tub in the bed. There is only 1 way to order my set 18x8 4.517 B/S and 18x9.5 5.031 B/S. Running 285/35r18s rear and 225/40r18 front.
Here are the rears mounted.

Re: Boss 338's?
Anyone got these on a 55-59? I have a set but I'm not at the point where I can mount them, but I think you'll need at least a 60" wide rearend to run the 20x10", what's the widest tires you can run on a 10" rim? I was told 305.

Are both pics with a 4x4 rear end or is the first one with a 2 wheel drive rear? |

Holy cow, is that for real? It looks photochopped...or air bags? Either way it's pretty sick
Truck looks really good 1952ssr, that's one of the trucks I was thinking of.

I hope you guys don't mind, whenever someone mentions these wheels his car always comes to mind. Isn't there a group buy goin on for these? 18x9.5 all the way around on my double nickel would look so good. Last edited by tehzack1; 04-23-2010 at 10:08 AM. |

Re: Boss 338's?
I have 10" wide Coy wheels on my 56, 60" wide Camaro rearend, 5" backspacing. Fit the fender ok but you will need to do a little mini tub in the bed. Looks great, 275-40-20 tires

I come to this site to see and discuss GM trucks. Ricers (if you must) belong in the Alternate Tinkerings forum. There are lots of pics of these wheels out there without looking at a Lexus. I'll get off my soapbox now. Welcome to the forum, you mentioned a double nickel....?

I like those wheels. that lexus is VIP status. Japan is known for building high end cars and dumping them on huge wheels (VIP)
