p/s pump questions
Putting power steering on 68, 327. Have used box and pump from same era. Pump whines and has hard spots when turning. Is pump bad or does it take time to work out air or other issue. pump was not used for approx 3 yrs. Is there an additive to help? If another pump is needed has antone used another years pump on these brackets? Thanks Gary

Re: p/s pump questions
Gary,
My guess is that the system has air in it. There is a certain way to bleed the system but I can't remember what it is off the top of my head. I know there are a couple of posts on it. I will see if I can find one... Here is one... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=3202592 LockDoc
