Here are a few Carlisle pictures
These were a few pictures taken on Friday. There were a few nice trucks there, the first three were Jerry Browns from the Truck Shop. As far as parts I really didn't see that much in the way of used. I saw a nice 72 cab with doors, a SWB bed. There was a set of 6 lug 15x8 steel wheels(not ralley) for $125. All I bought was 2 Highway61 models :-)

Re: Here are a few Carlisle pictures
I went Thursday and Friday - met Special K at his vend spaces. Didn't really find much. Bought some new tires for the Burb, picked up a period Q jet intake and some other little stuff. Didn't find any seat hold downs. There was a Burb there with supposedly 10,000 original miles. It was very nice and was loaded. It was to be auctioned off last night. Wonder if it sold and for how much. I charged up the digital camera and left it home. Thanks for the photos, 72 Super . There was a really nice 72 (I think) ochre and white Super Cheyenne there for 12500. Looked like a really nice truck for the money.

Re: Here are a few Carlisle pictures
I looked at all of those trucks! Met Special-K. Sold some stuff I did not need and bought some parts from Jerry Brown. I always enjoy going to Spring Carlisle.

Re: Here are a few Carlisle pictures
Thanks for the pictures.I didn`t get to see about 1/2 those trucks. That Dark Olive Cheyenne Super C/20 with slots was unmolested from CA with a 402 and was priced @ $4,600 o.b.o.I really wanted that one!It did sell. That Suburban went for $22,000.We believe it had a rare dealer accessory...stereo am/fm/8-track.Ithe 8-track is under dash and the radio is not the type we all know. The speakers are mounted in the kick panels, per instruction sheet. It was a loaded Highlander with radio delete.
Unfortunately a couple days of rain was to start in last evening and I hi-tailed it about 5 last evening (Sat.),as many others did.Still many there when I left, though.

Re: Here are a few Carlisle pictures
I was out there on Thursday. The blue/white and red trucks in the pics were really nice.
There was also a really nice white Cheyenne there that was my favorite. There was also a pretty decent looking ochre/white Blazer. |

Re: Here are a few Carlisle pictures
I was there Thursday evening thru Saturday afternoon. Didn't buy much but spent an hour or so with special K shooting the breeze on Saturday. There was a very big crowd on Friday, then Saturday was off a little but had a great time. I can't hardly walk today after all the walking at Carlisle, its always a fun weekend.

Re: Here are a few Carlisle pictures
Yeah Ray,my spaces are NW58-60.I`m right up against the back side of the shale hill and almost on the end by the armory where you come around from the car corral.I should be there next year, too.I gave my neighbor my walk in passes and they never even came up the hill, let alone around to "The Paddock".Those trucks blasting their airhorns isn`t too cool at 2-3 am .All in all it was a great time.Weather was good two days and ok for two.I was out of there by 5 on Saturday because my trailer is open with a tarp.I was driving my`72 GMC which is also open,so...
