Stupid question of the day...

I am using a paint stripper disc to remove the paint from my cab floor so that I can por15 the floor. The disc throws sparks every now and then. Should I remove gas tank? I considered throwing a wet blanket over it, but I really don't want to blow myself up during this project. If there isn't leaks, I would assume I should be fine, but want to get y'alls expert opinion.

Eh, I wouldn't worry too much if it ain't leaking and you aren't grinding directly on the tank... just be careful around the lines where they go through the floor!

You'll be fine. Make sure to smoke a cigarette while you are doing it too
