Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Nate, Google it. You can find all kinds of videos and write ups. I remember see something on this before but never saw any real results till now. I was looking to see if that person would come back with some tips but who knows. It doesn't look like a great process but I definitely could find some uses for it.

Well Paws72, I think it looks a bit sinister the way it sits now, without the trim rings.

new Fel pro one piece oil pan gasket installed today. hopefully no more leaks. It was a gusher before with the old worn out cork gasket that was in there.

They are the Ridler 695 Chromes in 20x8.5 and 20x10.....the offsets are 0 for both front and rear. I can tuck them all the way and drop it down about 6 inches on the front. I have to roll the rear fenders a bit to allow them to tuck.

I'm pretty sure they are 4.75" BS for the 20x8.5". I think this is the only backspace option they have for that size.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

honestly I dont know what the BS is. My wheel specialist went directly to Ridler to get these. Seemed every one was running Boss so I wanted a little different brand. What impressed me more was the a the Regional Rep personally delivered them to us here in Des Moines all the way from Kansas City. I have tried to find the BS for them, but that spec isnt offered or stated. Only thing in chart for Ridler is Offsets.

Believe it or not the wife likes it also. And since the mother in law is still alive she has say so also but it has grown on her too.She hasnt driven in about 5 years but she has had the itch to drive here lately. I know if I want her to though with her bad knees. Before and after

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Got my cab back from the blasters yesterday..

I was able to shoot the epoxy on it and topcoat some of the hard to reach under dash areas..

Good times!

Yeah i figured due to the epoxy primer, I would have to scuff up areas before topcoat & the areas under the dash would be a pain... so I just went a head and shot some paint on them in the "topcoat" window of the epoxy...

On the cab, its a nice cab for the $100 I spent on it... but don't let the photos fool you, it has it problem areas, but nothing that cant be fixed

I'll post up some photos of after its been sprayed here shortly.

Scott

Talking Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I drove down to Myrtle Beach in mine and entered the car show. Been having a blast talking to everyone. Meet several board members and talked to several new people that I hope will be joining up here soon. I invited invited them to our National truck Meet and Greet on June 8 in Mooresville SC.
Here is a link for pictures.

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=560724&page=6

Just a sample of what it takes to win the top award. These are the top 2 vehicles at the show. You can see all my pictures in the link.

Here is even more coverage of the show here.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
