Shock Replacement question

This may be a stupid question but I can not find any answers online. I want to get new shocks for my 67' K10 SWB and everywhere I look or even called (bilstien) I get the same answer...no part number available. Truck is stock hieght and I just want something to improve ride and handling better than the old beat ones on there. Any help on what you guys are using and P/N's? Thanks in advance.

Mods I was not sure if this should be here or in suspension...sorry if it is wrong

Re: Shock Replacement question

I'm satisfied with KYB Gas-A-Just shocks (which are non-adjustable, in spite of the name) on my '72 K20, also on a Grand Cherokee we used to own. Good quality, better-than-oem ride & control, and reasonably priced. With 2.5" front springs, I'm using the same (rear) shocks front & rear. I'll try to find a p/n for you.

Re: Shock Replacement question

Finally found it... p/n KG5417.

I've never had Bilsteins (other than stock ones on our Tacoma) but their reputation is top-notch. I don't believe KYBs are in the same league, but they are a good shock for the price.

Back to your application. I looked at a few places online that had listings for 69-72 K-series, but nothing for 67-68. Maybe they are different, and my numbers won't help you at all.
