Do they dodge buddy buckets mount in a 68 chevy pickup without modifying anything?

Re: Dodge buddy buckets

No you will have to drill holes or make a bracket for each side. The lower mounts are closer in but they do fit the width of the truck good. You can also remove the brackets from the frame and replace them with chevy style.ms gross can give you the info he has done this.

Hey, hey, hey, NWA!!!

I asked the same question and he didn't know. I sure would like to find out though. I would imagine you could find these a lot easier and cheaper than a real set of buddy buckets....

Re: Dodge buddy buckets

I got the exact same seats from an early 70s dodge pickup.I know of 2 sets for sale but they want $350 ea.Columbia SC craigslist has 1 frame an both style seats 1 price.I think they belong to a board member.

Re: Dodge buddy buckets

$350 for a GM set is a decent price, I paid $150 for my dodge set and another $75 for end brackets to be made.

Re: Dodge buddy buckets

Paid $15 for mine at the scrapper and they just need covers. We all get lucky sometime. If you find true 67/68 gm for $350 complete you are getting a very good deal.I know of several sets sold lately for $500 to $600 needing foam work and new covers.there are several sets of the dodge seats on ebay now in the $300 range plus shipping.

I think the dodge style of seats were into the late 60s and possibly to the mid 70s.
Cheap set on e-bay now, # 130389329541
