Re: 1982 Choo Choo Custom Brochure
I like the paint job and colors, but I really like the giant "DIESEL 6.2L"
The cream/brown stepside on the right side looks cool too!

Re: 1982 Choo Choo Custom Brochure
I have redone a few el caminos in the past and made them fake choo choos, with real choo choo parts. We used to get the occasional choo choo van or truck in for body work, they were one of the easiest conversion companies to deal with, and had some of the sweetest interiors back in the 80's.
I'd love to see that book page for page, heck I'd like to hold it. Good find/buy. |

Re: 1982 Choo Choo Custom Brochure
Cool...I had a friend just give me a set of those Western turbine mags, 15 spoke, 15 x 10 and 6 lug. Just like the single one in the picture, and on both vans. The center caps are gone though. Probably never find a set anywhere, but hey...they were free.
Update: I just went and checked the wheels out again. They are Western Vector Turbine mags, 15 spoke, and this style didn't have a center cap that snaps in, only a cap that slid through the hole in the center of the wheel. Probably should be an easy find on that. Last edited by Doug Garland; 05-15-2010 at 09:49 PM. Reason: add text |
