One peice glass ????????

Have a one peice glass products and Im having problems with the glass riding forward and jamming on the hinges. I have slotted the front and rear holes, pulled the glass 3 times and reset and still having challanges.

I had to even narrow up the scissor ams to clear the vertical post. I have just the passenger side somewhat done, I hope the drivers is easier.

Anyone have any hands on ideas and tips.

Re: One peice glass ????????

I was really interested in the one piece glass but I keep hearing of all these problems with them working easily. They look awesome but don't seem worth the headache. Hope it works out for you man.

Re: One peice glass ????????

Im not sure if its the new weather strip that is pushing it, but the kit seems to be well built. I have one peice glass in my Beetle from YEARS ago, and I think that was a issue with that too, as I remember always pushing the glass back in place.

Another issue I have is its power windows, so I reallly have no control on the torque that is put on the glass, especially rubbing against metal.

The look is worth the effort. Im sure I can get it, I will keep an eye open for any other tips.
