I'm still kind of up in the air on Cowl Induction hoods; on our trucks I'm not that crazy about them unless the owner REALLY needs the space under them.
Just my .02, though, it's your truck afterall. Greg (And just to put my lack of taste into perspective; I'm starting to believe that a shaker hood off a '69 Cobra Jet would look BADASS on one of our trucks)

Love Mine!!!
I love my Cowl! I do agree that anything over two inches tall can be too much in some instances.....

I need a new hood, ( mine was damaged pretty bad) I looked at both and decided that for my truck I prefer the stock. They both look good, just depends on what you like best.

I have two 68's one with and one with out. I like them as long as it fits the theme of the truck. And I agree with most, the 67-68's look better, lines seem to work out nicer than the flat stubby hoods of the later years.

Your truck is what got me thinking that a cowl hood would look really good.

Someone needs to come out with a ram air hood with less round/more square inlets on them then that would be my favorite.
Oh, sorry...I like the short cowls. Anything more than a handful is waseful!:p Or is it mouthful I can't ever remember!
