Question Super Swamper TSL Question

Has anyone used these?

I am looking at getting a set of 15x35x15 SS/TSL's and just wanted to know how these things ride on and off road?

I will be putting a 6" Lift on my 90 Burban to use as a daily driver, but it will also be my hunting and woods truck until I finish restoring the 85 Burban.

Any feed back would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

My brother had the SSR radials on his Jeep and said they were decent in most situations but really suck in the snow. He has Wrangler MTR's now and loves them. BTW the SSR's are available, probably have about 5000 miles on them and are the size in your post. Are you around Bishop Ca?

If you're gonna run Swampers I would go with the SSR's or the TSL/SX's..... I havent heard anything bad about the new PJ's.

Mudder67,

Well the thing is I can get these TSL's really cheap from a guy selling them but like I said I will be using them on a daily driver. So I want to find out how they do on the road before I drop any cash............................

Last I talked to him he had said like $550 if I remember correctly. I was thinking of picking them up my self for temporary tires for my rig as I do my lift. If you are serious let me know, he has had a couple of offers but nobody has come through.

Richard,

Got any pics of the 15x35x15's?

I am still overseas but would have to have these shipped to Florida. Any chance he would come down on the price any, the shipping will be hell.

Thanks,

I am going to call him tomorrow and will ask about the price. If you can give me a zip I can check on shipping. Oh, and the size is a 14 or 14.5 width not 15, find out when I call.

I have the Super Swamper SSR's and they ride ok but they are the worst tire on the ice I really like them in the snow but I haven't used them in the mud yet. they are pretty noisy on the pavement but that's to be expected with a mud tire. I only run 22lbs in them or they are to hard to drive on and my truck already rides like **** so I don't need anything else make it worse.

I have heard good things about the Trxus tire. They are suppost to be good both on and off road.

Sorry for the wait, he had gone out of town. I was informed that he does not want to deal with shipping and will only come down $50. He babbled about it costing to much anyway. I apologise for bringing it up.
