My best friends "72" Camaro
I have posted my buddies camaro here a few times. His car is a serious pro touring machine. It has a 454 fuel injected with a pro-charger. The suspension on the car with coil over all the way around but once he seen my brother in laws 69 pro touring camaro with air ride he said we have to put air ride in mine. Well the air ride technoilogies kit was ordered and installed. The complete rear of the under carriage had to be completely redone cutting, fabing and welding. I dont have picts of the under carriage but I will post some as soon as I take some. Here are a couple of teaser picts of what it looks like so far...First two picts are old from about a year ago notice how it sat with the coil overs.

Wow, that is a beautiful Camaro! I love the fact that he doesn't have the spoiler-it cleans up the look of the car.

Re: My best friends "72" Camaro
We spent three hours with the tuners yesterday with the car on the dyno. The first pass it did 508 hp and 490 foot pounds of torque. Doing some more tuning it did 574 hp and 541 foot pounds of torque then after more tuning this is all she wrote it did 621hp and 554 foot pounds of torque....
Well in three hours of tuning and about 15 pulls on the dyno that was the best we could get for now. My buddy is super happy not bad for a show car. Lesson learned here guys DO NOT listen to anyone about horsepower untill it is strapped on a dyno

Re: My best friends "72" Camaro
This was horsepower to the wheels not the crankshaft.......This car is out of control now. Next thing we have to work on is the brakes as it is not producing enough vaccuum for the booster we may have to go with a hydro boost. Stay tuned....

We were driving it tonight went to the gas station to fill it up with E85. This car runs like a bat out of hell. It sounds like a pro stock and I am not kidding this thing is bad ass..... I am going to video it this weekend as tomorrow and friday I have other things to do once I do I will post it ...... It is definetly a mid 10's vehicle at around 132 mph in the 1/4 mile without a doubt in my mind.
