Re: 454 in a 67

I went with Solid motor mounts on my 68 and Hooker header Super Comps.

Re: 454 in a 67

Check out this link. These guys used 72 BB motor mounts in their 67 Panel.
http://www.classicheartbeat.com/panel_8.htm

Additionally I just bought a 1967 Stepside Shortbox with a 454 in it. The mounts in my truck look different than the ones above and as you can see from the picture the PO did not select the right headers and used a hammer to solve the problem.

At some point in the future I'd like to redo this setup so hopefully someone else can advise on which mounts / headers would be the best.

Not the full answer you were probably looking for but hope this helps a bit.

I also found this picture. Not sure what type of headers these are but very nice clearance around the mount.

That's a small block.

The frame bracket in the header pic looks like it might be for a SB?
