rubber brake line dilema
on my 67 I just converted to disc brakes off a 72, airbagged with factory control arms and relocated the brake line tabs to the front of the crossmember,
Question: it seems the rubber brakes lines are kinda stretched when the wheels is straight, Should I be using longer lines and if so, Whats recommended? I think another inch oughta do it but I could be wrong. the truck is still up in the air so now would be a good time to replace them if need be. are the sqare body (73+) brake lines just a bit longer then the 71-72`s?

Re: rubber brake line dilema
Pretty sure the '73 brake hoses are longer.

Re: rubber brake line dilema
I had mine custom made at an industrial hose supply house.
They took my originals, and duplicated them with the exact style hose and added an extra 2".

Re: rubber brake line dilema
Superlift makes them 4" over stock for around $50.00 for a complete set. front and rear. Might be a little long for you

Re: rubber brake line dilema
yeah that would be a little long, I think 12" would be max length for me. what else have you guys used for brake lines on lowered trucks, Have you just used lines for like, lets say, a 77 1/2 ton 2wd?
