Re: My 62 I have owned for 42 years.
Looks like a great project. I still have my 57 Belair that I drove in High School. It looks about like yours now. I tore it down to redo it before my wife and I got married 14 years ago. I have moved it twice in pieces, but I will never get rid of it. It is now my sons car and we will start on it in the fall. It gives me five years to finish it before he can drive it. He knows that even though he drives it it's still mine!!!!!!! Good luck with getting it all back together.

Re: My 62 I have owned for 42 years.
When I get it done I am just giving it back to my oldest daughter. If it was not for the emotional connection I could have bought her a brand new 3/4 ton truck with every conceivable option. for what this is costing. But we need to keep these on the road. My hope is that it drives very much like a new truck but looks very much like a classic 60 - 64 truck. And I get the fun factor.

I have completed the aft fuel tanks and installation of airbags. The cab is just going into the paint booth. The interior will be a bronze gray close to the original. The exterior is maroon. I will show some more shots when the cab comes out and is color sanded.
