Re: CL Find. Los Angeles

That would make a nice parts truck for $500.

Re: CL Find. Los Angeles

Heck, it'd make a decent driver if the rust and motor aren't too bad. I emailed him, haven't heard back.

I believe PNO is Non-OP. I heard back from the guy, it's got a 350 and an auto transmission of some sort, probably a TH350. Said it was his DD, but now he only starts it a couple of times a year.
I was tempted to go look at it, but really don't have the room for it.

Planned Non-Operation (PNO)
If you plan to store and not operate your vehicle during the next renewal year, you may apply for the Planned Non-Operation (PNO) option..

Re: CL Find. Los Angeles

In CA a PNO is non operating registration which costs $18 one time fee. So there will be no back DMV fees or penalties. After 3 years, the penalties and back registration can add up to almost $1000. That totals out many old vehicles.

Re: CL Find. Los Angeles

I just got back from checking it out. Truck was a total POS. Rusted out drip rail, cab corner, rust in the ceiling, doors. Dented bedsides. Didn't look like it had been anywhere in years.

Re: CL Find. Los Angeles

I have had similar luck lately, was really disappointed in a Blazer I looked at a week or so ago.
