Finally got my Coys

Arrived by the brown truck today. I ordered them on March 8. At that time they said they had no 20 x 10 in stock. So I went with 4 20 x 8.5 and requested 2 with 5.25bs for the front and 2 with 4.75bs for the rear. Well after all this time they sent 4 wheels with 5.25bs. I must also say their communication sucked during this whole thing. With that being said the wheels are beautiful and I'll fix the rear with a spacer. I'm running big baer brakes and there was no fit problem at all.

Glad you got your coys. Can't wait for pics. As far as poor communication...sadly it seems to happen way to often.

Re: Finally got my Coys

good thing you received your wheels but no so good that they sent the wrong bs and now you have to alter to make them fit. Why wouldnt you call and chew them out to send you not only the right one but the one you really want? Thats what I would do. My .02

I know what you mean. I ordered mine on 03/03/10 an got my two 18 x 8. At least they sent me the right ones. But I know all about the communication problem. Next time I order me some Coys they will be in stock most certain.

Re: Finally got my Coys

There are lots of wheel manufacturers out there. Can't understand why anyone else would want to deal with a company that took nearly four months to get you your wheels and then sent two that were wrong.

Re: Finally got my Coys

The price was my determining factor for me.

I had to call them about a stripped out center cap bolt hole. They wanted me to patch it first. Retapping, teflon tape, etc. When I first called them I was willing to do this. But after dealing with some attitude and being told that it basically was not their problem that I received a new wheel with a stripped out center cap screw. I decided that they needed to send me a new wheel. So I had to deal with getting my tire dismounted, mounted and balanced.

I was also not pleased with my wheels ability to polish. That could be me but they did not seem to polish well.

So you get what you pay for.

Re: Finally got my Coys

ok so I called them and talked to Doug...he seemed nice enough. The 4.75bs wheels won't be in for 2 months...geesh, i've already waited 4. So I asked him if he would send me a couple .5" spacers and he was more than happy to do so. Anyways I'll get what I was going for looks wise but will have to use a spacer. They make cool wheels but as a business they are far from a well oiled machine.

Re: Finally got my Coys

ok, got them mounted, balanced and put on the truck. What do you guys think? One thing I noticed is that the rear end is off center by .5", once this is fixed I won't need any spacers. I was expecting the front to tuck in more. I may need to get a dropmember from Nathan.

Greystoke, very nice! Can you post your drop and tire size for us all? Thanks!

Re: Finally got my Coys

255/45/20 in front and 295/45/20 in back. Wheels are all 8.5 with 5.25" backspace. The truck is bagged front and back.
