doing a 700r4 swap this weekend, need tech help

i'm putting a monster 700r4 in my truck this weekend, and i'm running a vehicle speed sensor to run my autometer electronic speedo. there are two wires coming out of the sensor, i'm assuming that 1 wire is ground, and the other is the signal feed to run to the speedo, i'm also assuming that it cannot be wired backwards since it makes an AC sinwave. am i correct? next question would be about the filler tube/dipstick, are they the same on a 700 and a th350 trans? i've got a th350 in there now and was hoping to just swap the filler tube over. so if everything goes good this weekend,(700r4/eaton truetrac/4.10 gears installed,) i'll be ordering a new driveshaft tuesday morning and laying posi burnouts by next weekend.
