Will the rims off of a 1974 chevy 1/2 ton c-10 5 lug pattern fit on a 1972 chevy c-10

Re: Rim Question

No, I have 15" Rallies painted to match truck on my 72 now, I found a set of nice chrome 17" rims on craigslist that are on a 1974 chevy.

Re: Rim Question

they should fit right on, if theyre a larger width rim, like a 17x10, see how well they clear the fender wells and brake and steer components, if you see any rubbing going on, you might want to reconcider, otherwise I say if youlike the rims go for it. take your truck to the rim owners place with a jack and try a front one on first though

Re: Rim Question

Thanks for the response and suggestions. He is currently running a 235 50 17 tire and I have 245 60 15's on my truck. I went to this site another member had listed as a good reference and the tires work out to be very close in overall size.
