Brake lights in the bedrail?
Does anyone know of a vendor who makes tail lights which tuck into the bedrail on stepside trucks. I hate the bulky looking ear/lights that stick out and wanted something sleek...

Re: Brake lights in the bedrail?
There is an article in Classic Trucks on this very subject. They put LED lights in an old Chevy stepper...

Re: Brake lights in the bedrail?
Thx for all the leads guys. I'll prob check Mar-k since they are a site supported vendor. Anyone think it's a mistake to make the swap?

Re: Brake lights in the bedrail?
The lights you're looking at work well but are very small. They are usually used as an additional light(taillight) rather than the main or only light.I also would suggest looking at the law for your state to see if the surface area of the lens is large enough to be legal.
I think they look good I just don't think everyone who follows you will.

Re: Brake lights in the bedrail?
I'm guessing those are LED strips, where did you get them? I see another guy in the short/step thread with something similar to your setup too, kicking around ideas like those or a pair off something like a mid 50's chevy pickup, I like the looks of those...
